Please note: The live tracker is a very simplified plot of the ship's position. It works by GPS technology, but data is only recorded at regular intervals, so the tracker is not a true 'live' GPS position indicator. The line simply joins the GPS position points, and so may at times give the impression that the ship has made sharp changes in direction, or even crossed over land.
