| Haiti Response |

Our hearts go out to the nation of Haiti, devastated by the recent earthquake. We want to help in the most effective way we can. Recently a small team from Logos Hope were sent to work with children - find out more. April 14 UpdateIt has been three months since the earthquake struck Port-au-Prince (PAP) and the surrounding area in Haiti. We continue in our response to those in need. Last week, a team of 30 people joined OM’s team in Haiti and gave their time to provide special love and care to the children at several of the orphanages we are helping. This week, a small medical team arrived in country to work with us. We are also continuing to provide food to a number of orphanages. A 40-foot shipping container sent by OM from the USA is now in port in Cap Haitien, Haiti. Supplies from this container should be distributed this week to two churches in the Cap Haitien area that are serving internally displaced people who have come there from the earthquake area. The remaining supplies will be delivered in the PAP area next week for distribution there. The two Haitian nationals who have been serving with us are willing to continue for at least the remainder of the year. We are seeking the LORD’s guidance regarding our longer-term involvement in Haiti. We have established some very good relationships with a few churches that we would like to work through in the months ahead. Thank you for your continuing prayer support as we determine how to best serve the LORD in Haiti. Photos from OM Caribbean team
