Six months is a long time. For Logos Hope crew returning from their participation in the Logos II Caribbean literature tour, their old home had a new look, and lots of new faces. “We were so excited to be back, although we didn’t know half the people on the ship!” laughed Sam Korli (Ghana) who served as Logos II’s Bosun. However, the enthusiasm of Logos Hope’s welcome party, cheering and shouting on the quayside as the small group arrived, showed them that they had been missed. “We were blown away by the welcome!” Sam exclaimed. After approximately 18 hours of travel from Port of Spain in Trinidad to Køge in Denmark, the group enjoyed a day off to help with the transition. Another smaller group still on board Logos II will return once the future of the vessel has been determined.
