Power Up Logos Hope Fund

Power Up Logos Hope to keep her bringing knowledge, help and hope into the future

Larger than any previous vessel owned by OM Ships International, Logos Hope has the capacity to impact millions of lives around the world. Bringing knowledge, help and hope in each port of call, the ship offers a unique platform for sharing the love of God with every visitor. Logos Hope was launched only two years ago and is already carrying the torch of the Gospel with great effectiveness, building on the foundations laid by the ships and crew members that have gone before her.

The ship itself is nothing more than the platform God has given us to carry out the purpose with which He has tasked us. And yet it takes substantial resources, people, time, energy and finances to ensure it remains in good working order. The successful completion of the Power Up Logos Hope project is the key to allowing OM Ships to continue fulfilling our purpose… transforming lives.

In order to keep sailing and serving the public in port cities around the world, two generators need to be replaced and a new switchboard installed. The project will also involve the installation of a Heat Recovery System, facilitating the recycling of excess heat, saving tens of thousands of dollars a year. The completion of the Power Up Logos Hope project will also allow the ship to be in compliance with new maritime laws governing electrical capacity on ocean-going ships and our environmental impact.

In order to proceed we need a significant amount of funding to cover the costs of the new equipment and the installation. More details about this project are available on this page. This is a critical project for the ship ministry and we ask you to consider giving generously.
